Mens 1s: Holding Their Own

Top goal scorer: Mitch & Matt - 13

After earning promotion last season, the Mens 1s handled the step up with maturity, finishing a respectable 8th in their division—four points above the relegation zone. It was a season of consolidation, providing experience and valuable insight for further development in the year to come.

The Ladies 2s enjoyed a remarkable turnaround this season. Having battled relegation last year, they bounced back with incredible determination and unity. A consistent squad and sheer hard work led them to clinch the Division 2WS title by five points. Their defensive record and composed performances throughout the year were key to a hugely successful campaign.

Mens 2s: A Respectable Season

Goal difference: 10
Wins: 10
Position: 5/12
Top goal scorer: Jack - 12

Also promoted last year, the Mens 2s had a strong showing in their new division, finishing 5th. For much of the season, they held the position of "best of the rest" behind the promotion contenders. A slight dip in form occurred toward the end due to an ever-changing squad and less to play for, but overall, it was a campaign full of promise.

Ladies 3s: Agonisingly Close to Promotion

Goal difference: 32
Wins: 14
Position: 3/12
Top goal scorer: Cerys - 27
Player of the season: Tara
Donkey of the season: Lauren

The Ladies 3s had a huge season of progress, moving on from last year’s relegation battle to finish third in Division 4SW—just one point shy of promotion. Their final 7-1 win showcased their quality and drive. Although they narrowly missed out, they can be proud of their transformation and look forward to building on their success. Looking back on some of their results with disappointment, having not come away with a win just goes to show how far they have come.

Mens 3s: Promotion Secured on Final Day
Points: 39
Goal difference: 27
Wins: 12
Position: 2/12
Top goal scorer: KP - 20

The Mens 3s also had an outstanding season, finishing second in Division 4SW and earning promotion with a point in the final game of the season. They battled through the challenges of missing key players and integrating juniors stepping up to the team from the 4s. Their ability to adapt and remain competitive was a huge credit to the squad and hopefully they will be able to remain competitive on the league above.

Goal difference: -32
Wins: 2
Position: 10/12
Top goal scorer: Frankie & Jo - 9
Player of the season: Jess BA

The Ladies 4s ended the season toward the bottom of their league, but with 14 points, they stayed competitive and were comfortably clear of the bottom team. It was a year of steady development, and they showed they could hold their own in tough matches. They will be looking to push on next season with some juniors getting more experience of adult hockey under their belt.

Mens 4s: A Year of Growth

Top goal scorer: Noah - 3

This season saw the Mens 4s welcome new players—including juniors playing adult hockey for the first time and adults picking up a stick for the first time. Despite their inexperience, they finished mid-table and proved competitive against stronger teams. The foundations have been laid for a push toward promotion next season.

Their consistency was commendable, and the promotion of some of their younger players mid-season is a testament to their progress.
